BONNIE'S BIO

Bonnie Clark was born and reared in Asheville, North Carolina.

After graduation from East Tennessee State University, in 1976 with a Bachelor of Social Work Degree with an emphasis in Corrections, she moved to Oak Ridge and began working as the Truant Officer for the Anderson County School System. After one year, she began working as a Field Coordinator for several Federal Work programs through the East Tennessee Human Resource Agency in Knoxville.

After working for three years and traveling through a 5county region, Bonnie began plans with her father to open the first Quick Copy Center in Oak Ridge. The Corporation was formed in 1979, and Clark’s Copy Service, Inc. began operations in March of 1980.

Clark’s Copy Service, Inc. has been operating now for 22 years in the same location at 965 Oak Ridge Turnpike, which used to be the “French’s Plaza”.

Community Contributions:

  • Served on the United Way Board of Directors 1984-1990

  • Served as Retail Chairman for the United Way Campaign of 1992-1993

  • Member of the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce for 22 years

  • Currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce

  • Member of the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce

  • Past President of the Oak Ridge Business Association (ORBA)

  • Sponsor of many local clubs, organizations & non-profit groups in the Oak Ridge/Anderson County area
